West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to social media to blast Chris Brunt after the experienced midfielder was sent off against Aston Villa on Tuesday night.
Brunt was walking a fine line when he picked up a booking in the 66th minute, and it was not all that surprising when a second yellow arrived in the 80th minute for a rash challenge on John McGinn.
In all honesty, the 34-year-old should have known better.
West Brom did extremely well to record a 1-0 win on the night, which ultimately brought a penalty shootout.
It was Villa that triumphed on spot kicks, though, leaving the Baggies facing another season of Championship football.
It would be harsh to blame Brunt for what happened, but West Brom might well feel that they would have gone on to win the match with 11 men.

Dwight Gayle was already missing after picking up a red card in the first leg at Villa Park, and the team were hit with another blow on Tuesday night.
