Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is in the midst of an injury crisis at the moment, with seven players either ruled out or a doubt for Saturday’s clash with West Ham at the London Stadium, according to Premier Injuries.
One of those doubts is left-back Danny Rose, who missed England’s draw with Croatia and win over Spain during the international break thanks to a groin injury, and the 28-year-old now has a 50 per cent chance of playing.
Pochettino though should take a risk and start Rose, who is valued at £27m by Transfermarkt, as he offers far more than Ben Davies in what is one of the key positions for Tottenham’s system.
With Jan Vertonghen out with injury, it is likely that Spurs will go with a four at the back, and Rose has the perfect mix of attacking intent and defensive ability needed for the tough test away from home.
So, Spurs fans, would you risk Danny Rose for this clash or should Ben Davies get the nod. Have your say by voting in the poll below.
