Leeds played out a respectable 1-1 draw with West Brom at the Hawthorns, a result that should leave supporters happy, but instead they have taken umbrage with the commentary of Don Goodman.
The former player, who played for the Baggies and was born in Leeds, was offering insight into the match for Sky Sports but he frustrated many viewers with his opinions on the match.
In particular, some have questioned his view on a tackle by Ben White on Hal Robson-Kanu, as he refused to call out the West Brom man for diving despite replays clearly showing there was no contact.
That incident, amongst others, indicate to Leeds fans that the pundit has an unnecessarily critical agenda against the Whites.
Some feel that Goodman has taken such a stance against the club for a number of years, and were amused by his admission that Leeds fans have never liked him.
A few supporters are frustrated about this ongoing dispute as they have to put up with commentary that they believe is biased against their team, suggesting that the former striker paints a false picture of the events as they unfold.
Virtually impossible: Can you name the year all of these Leeds flops arrived at Elland Road?
It is clear that they yearn for someone with a more impartial view than that offered by Goodman, though if the team maintain the form they’ve shown this campaign they might not have to put up with him for much longer, as they will be in the Premier League.
In bad news for Leeds, fans have been reacting to Eddie Nketiah’s loan spell coming to an end after being recalled by Arsenal.
