Leicester got back to winning ways despite several changes to the side against West Ham, though defensive stalwart Jonny Evans did complete the 90 minutes for the second time in three days.
He has been in fine form for the Foxes this season and showed tremendous fitness and professionalism to complete the match at the London Stadium – and he was the only outfield Leicester player to do so.
The former Manchester United man is proving game after game that he was a terrific signing in the summer of 2018 having arrived for just £3.5m. Though Jamie Vardy and James Maddison often grab the headlines, he will be a key factor in Brendan Rodgers’ side qualifying for the Champions League.

Many supporters were left in awe of his strong defensive display on Saturday, as he shut out the home side for the majority of the match and ensured his team put their disappointing results behind them.
The defender might be 31 now but he seems to be in as good form as in any point in his career, and he now leads the backline with tremendous character and authority.
His presence is a big reason why Caglar Soyuncu has picked up several plaudits for his displays, and it appears his popularity is rising all the time with Leicester fans.

One supporter even suggests he has been the club’s signing of the decade, which is some praise considering the likes of Vardy, Riyad Mahrez and N’Golo Kante all contributed to a title victory.
That goes to show the regard in which he is held, and if he does help Leicester to reach the top four then his legacy at the King Power will surely last beyond his departure.
With the January window fast approaching, the club should be preparing for potential exits, with two players in particular who clearly aren’t part of Rodgers’ plans.
