Loads of Tottenham fans have been reacting to the latest transfer news, as Mauricio Pochettino has said it’s possible they could sign no one this summer.
It’s been an incredibly infuriating summer for Tottenham fans. Liverpool have gone big, Manchester City have added even more depth to their incredible attack, and Chelsea and Manchester United have both secured mega money deals to strengthen their midfield.
Fans have often wondered what Pochettino could be capable off with a bigger budget to splash, and it’s really starting to look like they’ll have to wait a little longer to find out.
“For us it’s still difficult to do. But in our mind it’s always to be competitive is the most important. We are going to play with 11 and try to be competitive and try to win every single game,” the boss said when asked about rivals’ spending.

“Last season I told you some numbers, but this season we don’t know. I don’t know if we are going to sign or not. We’re working on that. I cannot tell you if we’re going to sign one, zero or two or three or four.”
Fans were furious when a deal for Aston Villa talisman Jack Grealish fell through last week, after Daniel Levy tried to get the price down by making the Championship club sweat.
There are still plenty of young and talented players on the market, and Pochettino realistically needs to add at least one new midfielder to his squad, two if Mousa Dembele leaves.
