The FC Seoul skipper doubled his team's lead in the 41st minute as he scored past Gangwon goalkeeper Lee Gwang-yeon after receiving a pass from Choi Jun on the edge of the box. The goal proved to be crucial for Seoul as they clinched a 2-0 win and climbed up to the fifth position in the K League 1.

After securing an important win for his side, the ex-Manchester United star shared some photographs from the match on Instagram and wrote in the caption: "Light it up."

After moving to South Korea in February, the 31-year-old had struggled to find his feet in new surroundings. On top of that, he underwent knee surgery in March which kept him sidelined until the third week of May. The ex-England international, however, is gradually gaining confidence and has now scored three goals in 16 appearances.
